HAPPILY EVER AFTER: BELLE

HAPPILY EVER AFTER: BELLE

Belle was a beautiful, intelligent girl in high school. She was friends with almost everyone, for everyone adored her. She made straight A’s, was head of the culinary club, and was fluent in French. Lots of colleges wanted her too. She had everything. But that was changed one day, when she was walking through the woods, gathering plants for her science project, when she came across a small hut. She peered through the opening, and saw a teenage boy her age inside. He was sitting on a small stool eating a sandwich, and Belle decided to go inside, not fearful of anything. She asked the young man why he was out here, for he seemed harmless. He explained to her how his father made him angry and kicked him out of the house. He built this small hideout from construction supplies, and had a low pay job for food. She was very confused, but curious as well. She pestered him with many questions, and he soon growled and pushed her away. She left, but came back the next day with food and clean clothing. She tapped on the door, but there was no reply. She slowly creaked open the door and saw the boy sleeping inside. She tapped him on the shoulder and he rolled over groggily. He asked her why she was there, but she just asked even more questions. She gave him the bread sticks, apples, and cheese she had brought along with the sets of clothes. He mumbled a thanks and kicked her out once again, but that didn’t stop her. It started by bringing him food everyday, then more clothes. Then, eventually a mattress and blankets and pillows, and thats when he finally let her stay. She’d go after school and teach him what she was learning in school, and they’d talk about other stuff to. A month passed when he finally told her about his father, about how he wanted him to be mannered and gentleman like, when really, he was into sports and bands and video games. She even snuck him into her house when no one was home so he could take a shower every other day, and bought him colognes, medicines, and books. He’d never been to school, he was always homeschooled with his dad.One day, Belle was telling him about how senior prom was coming up, and how she needed a date, but all the boys in her grade only asked her out so she would do their homework. The boy, Adam, asked her if he could come. If he could take her, for he had formed a small crush on her. She said of course, for although she only liked him a little bit, her heart was kind and she wanted him to meet other people. She left and went and bought a beautiful gown. It was gold with ruffles, and she bought a pair of gold shoes as well. The night of prom, she curled her hair and put half into a bun. She did her makeup and slipped on her gorgeous dress. She picked Adam up in her car at the edge of the woods, for he had not learned to drive. He gave her a beautiful red rose, which she put into her hair. They drove to the prom and everyone was whispering about who the mysterious boy was. The night was magical, and afterward, she brought him home and gave him a soft kiss before going home. The next morning, she knocked on his door and told him to get dressed. He brought him back to his father’s house and rang the doorbell. A man with grayed hair and sorrowful eyes opened, and his smile stretched when he saw his son standing there. They made a nice reunion and Adam explained how Belle helped him in his time of troubles and changed him. Belle used her kind heart to save a boy she loved.
