Another great week of College Football!  Here is a recap of week 7.

Clemson survived a huge scare from NC State on Saturday and won in OT.  Deshaun Watson connected with Artavis Scott in the endzone in OT to give Clemson a 24-17 lead.  On NC State’s first play of OT, Marcus Edmond intercepted it, and Clemson won the Textile Bowl, the trophy for the winning team of the rivalry gameD between NC State and Clemson.  Deshaun Watson finished 39 of 52 for 378 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception passing.  “It’s about faith and belief,” Watson said.  “It’s what we had to do to get the ‘W.”  Clemson is now 7-0.

Ohio State defeated Wisconsin 30-23 in OT on Saturday night.  A 7 yard touchdown pass from JT Barrett to Noah Brown in OT sealed the deal for the second ranked Buckeyes.  “We just had to keep on grinding this Big Ten football,” Barrett said.  Barrett finished 17 of 29 for 226 yards, a touchdown, and an interception passing, and ran for 92 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.  Ohio State is now 6-0, while Wisconsin is 4-2.

The Vanderbilt Commodores stunned the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, winning 17-16 at Georgia.  “Sickening,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said.  Khari Blasingame ran for a 2 yard touchdown late in the game, and a huge fourth down stop sealed it for Vanderbilt.  Vandy is now 3-4, while Georgia is 4-3.  Neither team is ranked.
