The Clemson Tigers defeated Alabama 35-31 on Monday Night to take their first championship since 1981.  The two yard pass from Clemson QB Deshaun Watson to receiver Hunter Renfrow will forever be known as the greatest play in College Football history, putting Clemson ahead 35-31 and giving them the title.  After Jalen Hurts ran for a 30 yard TD to put Alabama ahead 31-28 with 2:07, Watson says he remained calm.  Before the offense took the field for Clemson, he told them, “lets go be great.”  After deep passes to Mike Williams and Jordan Leggett, and a pass interference call against Alabama, Clemson was at the Alabama 2 yard line.  With 4 seconds left, the ball was snapped, and Watson got it to Renfrow with 1 second left for the TD.  Clemson then did an onside kick and recovered it and just kneeled the ball.  A lot of fans believe it was an upset, but I don’t believe it was.  I thought Clemson was going to win the game after shutting out Ohio State on NYE.  Dabo Swinney also believed Clemson would win the game.  “Don’t call it an upset,” Dabo said.  “We expected to win this game.”  Alabama is no longer the best team in College Football. Clemson is.
