ARIANA GRANDE 6

Ariana’s sixth album

Ariana Grande is releasing a new album titled “positions”! She first announced the news of the album on October 14th in a tweet saying, “I can’t wait to give u my album this month.” She then teased the album name in a video she tweeted on October 17th where she typed “positions”. The title track was released on October 23rd alongside a music video. The album itself is being dropped on October 30th.

This will be her 6th album (7th if you include “k, bye for now (swt live)”, an album of her live performances recorded from her Sweetener World Tour)  following her smash-hit album “thank u, next” which was released in February of 2019. Ariana had released “thank u, next” just 6 months after she released her 4th album, “sweetener”. While she wasn’t releasing songs from this new album she was collaborating with other artists on other singles since the release of “thank u, next” including: “Stuck with U (with Justin Bieber)”, Nobody (with Chaka Khan), and “Don’t Call Me Angel (Charlie’s Angels)(With Miley Cyrus & Lana Del Ray)”.

Ariana had also released the tracklist on October 24th which included some notable features from Doja Cat, Ty Dolla $ign, and The Weeknd(whom she has collaborated with before on the song “Love Me Harder”, which was on her sophomore album “My Everything”). Some songs on the tracklist include “just like magic”, “obvious”, “my hair”, and “safety net” ft. Ty Dolla $ign. She stated in another tweet “I don’t have a top three or anything! everything goes hand in hand. This project is my favorite for many reasons and I really can’t wait for it to be yours. thank u for your love and excitement, it means the world to me.”. You can count down the seconds to the release of “positions” on her website.
