One of the most important aspects of being a productive citizen is being involved in the community. iUniversity Prep helps students to make positive impacts on their communities. Kiley Brown is a science teacher at iUP and works to inspire Preppers to lend a hand and help others. This school wide service association is open to all iUniversity students and meets the first Wednesday of every month to discuss ways to serve neighborhoods in the DFW area and beyond. Club members participate in various service projects throughout the year, and work to boost the face of community. Ms. Brown describes that, “we are stronger and better together. We get to see small deeds do big things in the community around us.” The service club teaches teamwork, selflessness, compassion, and work ethic- all traits that benefit not only future community involvement but future success.
