Imagine if you were living in a modern world, how would you share your good deeds to everyone?
To start things off, there are numerous ways to make the world a better place that can not only help you but others as well.
In the modern world, many teenangers and adults want to show their nice deeds towards others. This is because they want to make the whole atmosphere an amazing place. It can not only help the United States, but also other states in need like Uganda. In the present day, this type of act is vital because of one of the community agreements, that teachers like Mr. Rains says at the beginning of every class “Positive Expressions”, which means that we all have to keep a benevolent or peaceful atmosphere with everyone.
For example, one of the teachers here, Mrs. Mcfarland, shows kindness by remembering that everyone is fighting some sort of battle and that kindness can really help in any situation. In other words, while every person here today is dealing with obstacles that are hard to overcome, simply being kind to them can have an important positive impact. By doing that, it encourages empathy and understanding towards others, reminding us to treat everyone with respect so that we can live a happy life.
According to “50 Small Ways to Help Make the World a Better Place”, some examples of showing benevolence is stepping through life with honesty and integrity, spending ‘unplugged’ time with your kids, which can give them 100% of your attention, forgive, and sprinkling kindness like it’s confetti (Defontaine, 2023). The first 2 examples as stated above connect to responsibility because if you did something wrong, you have to tell the truth, and also when you have kids, it’s your responsibility to bond with them to form a relationship. The final 2 examples connect to showing respect, like when someone hurts you by accident, you have to forgive them; and also spread kindness because it can not only make you feel better, but the other person as well.
According to “33 Things to Do to Make the World a Better Place,” there are other examples of showing benevolence like volunteering in your home country and/or state for a cause that’s important to your community, registering to vote, and then vote, learning new language so that you can communicate across cultures more effectively, and unplugging from digital devices and screens for a day or two (Truckey, J., 2022). The first 2 examples apply to the whole nation because you can not only feel proud of what you have done but others can also feel the same way. The 3rd example could be used as well because by learning a language, you can understand the culture around you so that the younger generations can learn from you. Lastly, the 4th example can be used because although it can be hard, it can be useful if you want to have a productive lifestyle.
For example, as an iUP student, I try to practice benevolence by showing honesty towards my fellow people and limiting usage of devices.
In conclusion, we can all make a huge difference by showing benevolence to not only our friends, but our citizens as well. By doing that, we can all live happily ever after with peace and harmony.
