In this phenomenon, the two best teams in the league have their coaches choose the best 12 players in their division, the West or East. Then, they play a basketball game to determine which team is better. This is not only for glory though; it is also to see who has more home games in the NBA final. Without this you could not determine who gets the 4 extra games in an even matter.

Even if you can’t get a ticket to the game, (which are very expensive) you can still watch on the big channels like CBS or ESPN. Going back to the game, if you saw this team as a real team in the NBA, it would be completely unfair and they would probably win 70 games a season. This shows how overpowering these games can be.

There are downsides to this crazy fast-paced game. There is hardly any defense because the great players do not want to get hurt and have their team not reach the playoffs. It makes the game a shoot-out and there is usually a score that would be the end of the game in the real games by the first half. Also getting a good seat is hard because they are so expensive. Finally, you are conflicted on who to cheer for since you probably like players on both teams.
