JEAN HACKS!
We all love our jeans, but sometimes being fashionable comes at a price…but not anymore!
- TUCKING NON-SKINNY JEANS INTO BOOTS:
Dealing with non skinny jeans and boots can be a hassle, but simply fold the bottoms up to your ankle, and then fold them to the side, then slip a sock over them and put the boot on!
2. KEEPING ZIPPERS UP
You do not want to be caught with your zipper down, and some jeans, it happens naturally. To keep the zipper up, hook a keychain loop onto the zipper and go ahead and zip up. then put the loop around the button and never fear your fly!
3. UN-SHRINK YOUR JEANS (or any article of clothing)
The struggle is real when you pull clothing out of the dryer and they are suddenly too small! To get them back to their original size, simply fill a sink with lukewarm water. Add a capful of baby shampoo. Let it sit and then knead the clothing in your hands. Remove the garment and squeeze the soaked up water out. DO NOT RINSE IT! Lay the clothing flat on a towel and roll the towel up with the clothing inside. Unroll it then put another towel on the garment. Then stretch the clothing out to its original size, slowly. Then let it air dry. Tada!
4. STRETCH JEANS TO FIT
I can admit that I’ve bought jeans, maybe missed my daily work out a few times, then a week later they are to tight! But all you have to do is put the jeans on. Then fill the tub with hot water and soak in the tub with the jeans on for about 5-10 minutes. Then spend 30 minutes doing stretches that use your legs. (Ex. lunges, squats, and yoga etc) Then let them dry. Repeat the process. It’ll be easier to breath now!
5. MAINTAINING THE COLOR OF DARK WASH JEANS
However much you want to maintain the color of dark jeans, you cannot leave them unwashed forever. When it’s time for a cleansing, a simple hack helps maintain the deep pigment. Turning the jeans inside out and adding 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar to the final cool washing cycle prevents fading.
And there you have it! Hope these helped you find jeans kore enjoyable and stylish!
