HAPPILY EVER AFTER: POCHAHONTAS
Pochahontas was dreading the next Monday. It was rumored around the school that Keaton, a very popular boy in the grade, was planning on asking her out Monday. Sure, the boy was nice and all, but he was no fun, no personality.
The day John moved into their small town, it was his first day at public school. He had no idea what it’d be like, no idea that one wrong move could send him plummeting down the endless hole of humiliation.
As John sat down next to her in Chemistry, her heart skipped a beat. She kept quiet, but she couldn’t help but speak to him. Everyday, they fell more and more in love. And Keaton noticed. At the end of the week, Friday, Keaton cornered John at the end of the hall and threatened that if he didn’t meet him at the back of the school after classes, he’d be sorry.
As Pochahontas gathered her belongings and said goodbye to her locker for the weekend, she turned to go find her car in the back parking lot. She heard grunting, and turned the corner to see Keaton and one of his friend beating up another boy. When she saw John’s face as the victim, she ran towards the brawl, trying to break it up. While Keaton was distracted, John kicked his feet out from under him and slammed his head against the wall. Keaton fell unconscious.
Pochahontas called the ambulance, angered at both John and Keaton. She attempted to ignore John the rest of the week, but not being able to speak to him killed her inside. On Monday, she walked through the halls, desperately asking where he was. She finally got an answer from a girl named Willow, and she raced to the principals office where John was about to get expelled.
She interjected, pleading for him to only get suspended.
They became a couple, and Pochahontas kept him out of trouble for the rest of the year. Pochahontas saved John from disappearing fro her life, and kept him from ending up in the ICU. And so, she lived happily ever after.
