TEAVANA TEA, IS IT WORTH THE PRICE?
I have tried many teas on many different occasions. When I heard about Teavana, I was thrilled. Not
only was it a store dedicated to my favorite drink, tea, it was also very modern and had a good feel to it.
It was also very close by, so I stopped by to purchase some teas. I looked around the store for a little bit,
and then a kind lady showed me around. She showed me some teas that she enjoyed as well as some of
the most popular teas they sell. The first one I picked up was the Monkey Picked Oolong, which was said
to be picked off of the tops of the tea trees by monkeys back in ancient times. I also picked up some of
their Chai and other blends that they had available. Overall, the tea was very good. It had a nice balance
of flavor and body. The Oolong was very mellow and earthy, while the Chai was spicy and very flavorful.
It was very nice tea overall, but there was one catch: the price. It was some of the most expensive tea I
have ever purchased, and I cannot say that the price was justified by the quality of the tea. It was very
good, but I felt like the price was a bit too high. The quality, more specifically, was about average, while
the price was that of a more premium grade of tea. I have now realized it’s not just about the tea, it’s
also about your shopping experience as well. They offer lots of free samples, and are very kind and show
you everything you would like to see. A plus is they sell everything that you need to brew or steep your
tea, so you don’t have to shop around other places to be able to make your tea. All in all, it wasn’t just
about the taste of the tea that made the price what it was, but also the experience of purchasing the
tea. Overall, the tea was good, but I cannot say that the tea alone can justify the price.
