TEDX
Do you remember when your teachers asked you to write a poem or a paper on superpowers to go to this thing called TEDX? Well, I did and I am going to tell you about my experience. First of all if you wrote a paper to go to TEDX I think you are awesome and I bet your paper was just about as good as mine. Just so you know you should totally try to get to TEDX if you get another opportunity because it was awesome.
At the TEDX meeting there was guides to greet us and get us situated. After that we listened to speakers and believe it or not it was really fun!! Yes, sitting in a chair didn’t sound fun to me but it was more fun than it was made out to be. We listened to the guy who made a movie called “The Book of Life.” After that we listened to a little boy talking about the science of smiles. There was a banjo player talking how it wasn’t easy fitting in with his banjo. We listened to amazing speakers and their stories and experiences. The TEDX meeting was pure fun. Two flamingos walked on stage and one penguin. Lots of kids got to go on stage and speak on a mic even though they were student visiting TEDX just like I was.
TEDX was really fun and yes you may or may not have gotten to go this time but let me tell you if you keep trying you will succeed. If you were having trouble picking a superpower just google superpower and I promise there will be results. I have one more thing to share with you before this article is over. If you get another chance to go to TEDX I want you to know a secret that will almost ALWAYS get you in. “If you think you can you can but if you think you can’t your right.”
