KEEP CALM AND MODEL ON

Fashion advertisements do not always depict real people living in every day society. It is refreshing to see ads using models that reflect real life people, as not everyone has blonde hair and blue eyes. Retailers have been getting on board with using models that have disabilities. Well-known companies such as Nordstrom, Target, and Toys-R-Us have been instrumental in including children with special needs as models in their print advertising. Companies embracing differences and supporting the special needs population is helping to build momentum towards inclusion for all. Every child deserves to live up to their abilities and dreams.
