Alyssa is a 6th grader at iUniversity Prep, in Mrs. Lee’s Pride. She is an AVID horseback rider. She got into horseback riding, because she thought it was the most exhilarating sport in the world. She has been riding all of her life, and started competing at the age of 8. Alyssa has one horse named Leroy Jethro or “Gibbs.” She had a horse named Tequila who passed away a couple years ago. She has received numerous awards, among those 3 reserve champion belt buckles. She is riding whenever she can except when it rains… with an uncovered arena the rain is not Gibbs and Alyssa’s  friend.

When interviewing her, “do you have a favorite horse memory.” She replied “no, well I take that back, My family went on a trail, and it had a beautiful view. I’ll never forget it.” She also loves to draw and watch anime. Other fun past time activities for her are reading and writing. Her favorite color is lime green, and her favorite food is a Japanese candy is called, Hi-chew and poke-E.
