The iUniversity owl for this weeks ‘eyes on owls’ is Madilyn Stelzer.

Madilyn Stelzer is a freshman in Mr. Hamerick’s pride, and her favorite subject is history.  Maddie loves iUniversity Prep because it gives her the free time she needs to participate in theater.  She loves theater because she gets a chance to become someone else.  She gets to do, feel, and say things she never would in real life. She started musical theater when she was 5 years old. Her favorite production was “Starlight Express”. This production was completely on roller skates! Maddie said, “I loved getting to learn how to roller skate!” This specific production was all about character development. Her most challenging role was Margy Frank in “State Fair” as this was Madilyn’s first lead role, and it was incredibly difficult because of the age difference. The amount of work put into a single production is about 8-17 hours a week. Maddie also likes to sing outside of the theater, and works at Royally Fun Birthday Parties. She is an incredibly talented teen. Break a leg in future productions, Maddie!
