Annika Sawant is a 4th grader at iUniversity Prep. She is also enrolled in 7th grade PreAP math class.  Annika is an aspiring singer, author, songwriter, classical violinist, actress, and a model.

She has performed at various venues around the DFW area including House of Blues, and Six Flags.  For her singing and violin performances, Annika has earned several awards such as Best Overall Performer at Septien JMaster Showcase, and Hebron’s Got Talent. She has appeared in print and video commercials for national brands.  She is continuing to train in violin, vocals, stage presence, and acting for film.

Annika is a voracious reader, loves to write stories and is passionate about math. She loves to swim and cares about the environment especially the effects of pollution. She knows 4 languages including Spanish, Chinese and  Marathi.  She was selected for Center for Talented Youth Program of Johns Hopkins University.

Her teachers were quick to praise Annika.  Mr. Carter shares that “Annika is always willing to jump on the mic to answer questions in Live Lesson, and provides great feedback to other students when they hop on the mic. She embodies mutual respect in her interactions with other students.”  And, Mr. Ausdemore commends the fact that “Annika consistently represents the CA’s at the highest level- from participation, digging deep to answer questions, to positively affirming the rest of the students in the room.”
