WAYS FOR STUDENTS TO STAY HYDRATED
How water apps can help iUP students improve their daily lives
As we know, water is a must-have in life. Water is a key in life that helps us stay healthy, but also keeps us alive. As the world uses more technology, fewer people are drinking the water that they should each day. However, with this new technology increase, there are now apps that track how much water you drink and help you move toward a goal of having a healthy amount of water. You simply log how many ounces or cups you have drunk and set a goal that you want to achieve at the end of the day.
Water is a critical feature that we need in our diet. It helps us stay healthy, be more active, and focus more. Students at iUP can not only focus better and concentrate in school, but this could be a game-changer for extracurricular and exercise. These new water apps can help iUP students become hydrated while working out, volunteering, or even completing standard schoolwork. Staying hydrated is one of the most vital things you need while playing sports or exercising and logging and tracking your water count can help students become more aware of what is a safe and healthy amount of water that they need to consume.
Water is not only used to keep us alive, but studies have shown that drinking a good amount of water each day can help you concentrate and perform better at certain things. In these studies, students have not only done better than before, but they were able to get more work done and not get distracted as easily.
In an iUP poll, most students would be willing to try using a water app and nearly everyone thought that it could help them drink a healthy amount of water. Each student had a different opinion but mostly they thought that it would help them drink more, but they might forget to log in all the time. Most students thought that it would take a little time to get used to it and might be a little weird when they start it.
Water apps could be a big change for students in schools and they might have a big impact on people that need to maintain a healthy amount of water each day. The ability to concentrate better when you drink water will be helpful for many students in schools like iUP.
Drinking could also help relax students that are feeling stressed and have lots of work to do. You could take a break and just drink a glass of water to help you relax and concentrate on what you need to do next. Using these water apps, students can be motivated to drink more water and have a goal of a healthy amount of water.
Overall, water apps can help many students at iUP, as they can help us consume a healthy amount of water and help us focus, concentrate, relax, and even help in extracurriculars. Staying hydrated is one of the most important things in life and these water apps are just one small step that can lead us in the right direction.
