Dear iHoot readers,

You may know me. I’ve written articles about Instagram, a halloween piece about movies to watch and a few more. I am also the 2020-2021 Entertainment section Editor, but this isn’t about that. This is a letter to all of you out there who have read my section and articles as a goodbye. Along with all my iHoot jobs I am also a senior at IUP. That means I will be graduating June 5th to start my education at Pace University as a Musical Theater major pursuing a Bachelors in Fine Arts. That’s why I wanted to be a section head of the entertainment section. But again, this isn’t about that. 

I wanted to write this to tell you to keep reading and keep writing. Your art is so vital to the world. Though you are still young, as am I, you will change the world. There are many of you who are writing your own stories and posting them on iHoot for your peers to read. One day you could be world known authors, journalists or so much more. You’re at the start of your journey. That journey will be hard but in the end so fulfilling that you will look back on your early works and laugh but smile with nostalgia. 

And though this is goodbye for now and you and I don’t know each other personally, I know that you will do great things. You will break boundaries and set new standards. Keep pushing yourself and chasing your dreams.
