YOU ARE OWLSOME SEPTEMBER SHOWCASE RESPONSES

The “You Are Owlsome” club here at iUniversity Prep began with the simple idea of spreading kindness throughout our school. Since our establishment in the 2020-2021 academic year, the small idea has blossomed into a school-wide act of generosity. The response we have received has surpassed our highest of expectations. In fact, we have received a record number of sixty responses in September alone! We truly appreciate everyone’s kindness and could not be prouder of our fellow classmates at iUniversity Prep! If you would like to submit an act of kindness, please visit this form. Each month, the first ten responses submitted to the form will be showcased in an iHoot article. That said, here are the first ten we received for the month of September:

 

Braden Johnson told Mr. Carter, “You are the best pride teacher ever!”

 

Adriel Castaneda told everyone, “I wish everyone good luck on staying on pace and getting good grades, you got this!”

 

Shyann Wilson told Ms. Beakley, “Thank you for being a nice teacher! :)”

 

Joshua Dozier told Ms. Jones, “Thank you for staying in touch with me and helping soo much for helping getting me caught up.”

 

Elena Faulkenberry told Mrs. Palmer, “Thank you for always being there when I need help!!!”

 

Evangeline S. told Eve Bamber, “It is awesome how you are involved in everything! You are such a good leader!”

 

Justus Jones told Mrs. Cavananaugh, “She is an awesome teacher and she always loves hearing about our weekends!!!! She is always keeping us up to date and if you reach out to her for help, she will always contact back and help you.”

 

Ambry Jensen told everyone, “It’s ok to mess-up. But do not give up!”

 

Gianna Bucher told Brienne Gustavon, “I love how you are always the first to jump out there and speak on the microphone. Also, you are never afraid of being wrong.”

 

Jearlean (Jae) Roberts told Mr. Duban, “I just want to say thank you to Mr.Duban for making his classroom so fun and positive. When I first came to his LL I immediately felt like I was in a safe environment. I wish I could write something to all my classmates as well because they are just amazing!”
