Teens all over America are downloading one more useful app to their phone, one that everyone is talking about. “Vinted” is an app created for teens to post pictures of clothes they want to sell, and people purchase them. This is very similar to E-Bay, but more “Hip” and “Trendy”

The app is simple. You download it for free, and then create an account. (Mine is @katieclardy) Here you can post your items you would like to put of for sale.

To sell an item, there are several things you do. First, take several pictures of your item. Add a description too. You then list the original price, and then the price you are selling it for. You choose sizes, stores, and colors to help buyers determine if they want it. Click post, and now people can see and buy your item!

When you post an item, others members can look at it and “Like it” Unlike Instagram, only like an item if  you are willing to buy it!

Sellers will often communicate to likers through the messaging inbox, and vise versa. People can also follow you to see your items every time they are posted and updated.

In your feed, items from recommended users show up, swell as people you follow.

When someone wants to buy and item, you print out a shipping label provided buy Vinted that helps the buyer track the package. The buyer pays for the item and shipping, then the item is packaged and sent via US Postal service.

Once the buyer has received the item and confirmed its the right size and what they wanted, they press a confirmation and now you are able to access the payment via your wallet. You can either keep it in your Vinted Wallet to buy other items, or transfer it into your bank account. If the buyer receives the item and is not satisfied with it, they receive a refund and the item is shipped back to the seller.
