FIRST ROUND OF NBA PLAYOFFS

Getting Intense

The NBA Playoffs are now at games 4 and 5 of the first round, with the Clippers and Rockets as well as the Heat and Hornets preparing for game 4, and everyone else but those 4 and 4 other teams are preparing for game 5.  The Grizzlies were eliminated by the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday after the Spurs won 116-95.  The Pistons were eliminated after the Cleveland Cavaliers won 100-98 on Sunday.  The Warriors are up 3-1 on the Rockets, but the worst has happened for Golden State: Stephen Curry is injured.  He had originally injured his ankle and missed two games, and came back for game 4, but slipped on a wet spot and injured his knee.  Curry underwent an MRI on Monday and the results are not in.  He will likely miss game 5.

The Celtics and Hawks are tied up 2-2.  The Raptors and Pacers are tied up 2-2, and the Heat are up 2-1 over the Hornets.  The Clippers are up 2-1 over Portland, and the Thunder are up 3-1 over the Mavericks.  There has been many extra-curricular activities in the Mavericks and Thunder games, the most notable being the incident between Raymond Felton and Steven Adams when Adams was going up for a rebound and clipped Felton in the head.  Felton started shoving Adams and a shoving match between the two teams started.
