HOW TO MAKE GOO

Do you like squishy, slimy, things? If you do, follow these easy steps to make some goo!

There are countless techniques for making slime, but I am only going to show you the technique that I find the easiest. For this technique, you are going to need liquid starch, equal amounts of school glue and water, a mixing bowl, something to stir with, and food coloring is optional.

To start, pour your equal amounts of glue and water into your mixing bowl (I used Elmer’s clear glue.) The amounts of these ingredients vary, depending on how much goo that you want. I used five ounces of each.

Then, put in a few drops of food coloring. Last, pour in your liquid starch A LITTLE AT A TIME! If you just pour in all of the liquid at once, it will ruin the goo. First stir your slime with a spoon or jumbo popsicle stick. Once it starts to thicken, go in with your hands. There are no exact measurements for the liquid starch. The more you put in, the thicker and harder it is going to feel. At first, your goo is going to feel all uneven and clumpy. This is normal. Just keep kneading it with your hands, and it will firm up. Store your goo in a sealed container such as a Ziploc bag, or a mason jar.
