HUMANE SOCIETY OF NORTH TEXAS

HUMANE SOCIETY OF NORTH TEXAS

Does that ASPCA commercial tug at your heart strings? Do you have the desire to take home every stray animal you see on the side of the road? If so, and if your parents won’t allow you to turn your house into a make-shift animal shelter, there is a place you can go! The Humane Society of North Texas is a non-profit animal rescue and adoption association that is the largest in the metroplex area. Not only does HSNT take in traditional animals like cats and dogs, they also rescue horses, livestock, reptiles, and others, and have been doing so for over 100 years! If you are passionate about helping animals in need, you can become a volunteer at any of the Humane Society’s locations in North Texas. It takes countless volunteers, donations, and foster parents to care for over 25,000 animals each year, so visit https://www.hsnt.org/ to see where you can help out. Now that’s a PAWS for celebration!
