Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, Kendal, and Kris. We all know what family this is. The Kardashians. After soon to be 14 years and 20 seasons one of the biggest reality shows is coming to an end

                     Keeping Up with the Kardshians (KUWTK) first began in October of 2007. To backtrack: Kourtney Kardasian and Scott Jenner were still married and Mason hadn’t been born yet, Kris Jenner was still with Bruce, Kim wasn’t with Kanye, Kylie Jenner was 10, and Kendall Jenner was 11. The 19th season premiered this September with the 20th and final season set to premiere in early 2021.

                     Kim first revealed that KUWTK was ending in an Instagram post on September 8th. She

stated “It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”. Kris Jenner revealed in an interview with Ryan Seacrest (the producer and creator  of KUWTK) the reason the show is ending,  “…the number 20, it just seemed like the right time, I think for us to take a minute and breathe and everybody slow down a bit. Not slow down professionally, but just you know figure out what our next steps are.”.

                     Although the decision to end the show was the family’s, some members had already begun to leave. Kourtney Kardashian had decided to step back from the show in 2019, long before they decided to end it. She stated in an interview with Entertainment Tonight “I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there.”  

                     Here are some of the most unforgettable moments from the show. In one scene turned meme, Kim is seen crying over the fact that she lost her earring in the ocean, Kourtney then comes out and says “Kim, there’s people that are people dying.”. In another meme, Kris is holding a pig and Kylie comes down the stairs and exclaims “Is that a chicken?!”. Although there are countless hilarious scenes there are some very serious ones as well. Some of the most heart wrenching scenes are the ones where the family finds out that the father of Khloe’s child, Tristan Thomson, cheated on Khloe with one of Kylie’s closets childhood friends, Jordyn Woods. 

                      We have seen a lot of fights, tears, laughs, love stories, and memories in general watching KUWTK. Although it might be sad to see this show coming to an end, we all know that we will still be able to keep up with them with social media and brand launches.
