Ebola- the disease that has been causing many Americans distress for months. However, the 21 day quarantine period has passed and victims are on the road to recovery. America is Ebola-free.

The problem is, that Americans only became concerned about the deadly disease after the problems became personal. Ebola has been ripping through West Africa for years, with not too much awareness until now.

A point of interest with the Ebola virus is the amount of conspiracy surrounding the topic. A girl from a local Texas high school wrote on social media that Ebola was the government’s plan to bring down Texas.  She also mentioned that the only reason Ebola hit Texas was because of the State Fair and that Marshall law was being installed.

Why is it that when disaster strikes, people immediately accuse the government for playing a role in it?
