The holidays are one of the most popular times of year to travel. Many people love visiting family, going on fun filled winter trips, or even taking a few days and going to a remote resort with a partner. For everyone who is planning on traveling this year, here are a few tips to help with the trip!

First- roll your clothes! Winter is especially hard to pack for because of all the big and warm clothes we wear during the chilled months. Rolling your clothes instead of just folding them can really help save space! For shirts, fold them in half and roll them up, and for pants, fold them down the middle and roll. This way, you have more horizontal room and can still stack the rolls vertically too.

Another great traveling hack is DO NOT look at flights too often! Airlines can track how much you look at tickets and can even raise prices. One of the best times to look at flights is Tuesdays at 3 PM. Make sure you have an idea of where you want to go and when you want to go! Holidays are always tricky with getting good ticket prices, but planning is key to a successful search.

Lastly, pack light. This may be hard in the holidays, but traveling should be about the experience, right? This will make your airport time a lot quicker and easier, as well as less stressful. For an even easier experience, try to keep everything carry-on. Waiting in the checked bag lines is a definitely time consuming, and luggage is more likely to get lost during these holiday times. The biggest tip for the holidays is to remember that it’s all about the experience and loving one another!
