Marvel has been a company that has changed the culture and the generations today.  From outstanding comics to the big screen, Marvel is greatly known throughout the whole world.  In response to the last Avengers movie, Endgame, Marvel has announced many new series to air on Disney+.  You may have heard of them, WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and What If..?.  Recently fans have been raving over the new WanaVision series and now are all excited for the Falcon and Winter Soldier series.  That was until we found out that they had replaced the famous Captain America, or Steve Rogers, with John Walker.

Now everyone’s first reaction to this was not positive that is for sure, and everyone seems to blame Marvel for this decision.  However, as we dive into episode 2 we start to see why Marvel made that decision and how it is affecting the storyline.  As we all know, in  Captain America the First Avenger, there was a scene between Dr. Abraham Erskine and Steve Rogers.  In this scene, we can recall the Dr. saying these words “Whatever happens tomorrow you must promise me one thing.  That you will stay who you are.  Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.”  Now we can also recall in Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 2 where we get a rundown of John Walker’s resume.  We see why the government would choose him to be Captain America because John Walker is the exact opposite of Steve Rogers and that is why every Marvel fan seems to hate him.  Now the question is why did Marvel do that?  Why would Marvel want to set that up?

Well, we all know that Marvel likes to set things up early, and we already know Marvel wrote John Walker to be the opposite of Steve Rogers so we would dislike him.  There are many theories that John Walker ends up being the bad guy and Sam and Bucky have to end up working together to stop him.  Marvel has not confirmed or denied this statement, but we can tell by the way they are setting it up, it might be a possibility.  Marvel cast John Walker on purpose and we know that now, all we have to do is sit back, relax, and see what happens.
