Places for Teens to Hang Out During the Summer

With summer just around the corner, I’ve compiled a list of a few places for teens to hang out with friends and family. While cases/death rates of the Coronavirus are slowly dwindling down, different rules and regulations may still be intact in certain places. 

 

Theater-

  • Studio Movie Grill
  • AMC

If you and your family and friends are looking for a little hangout, movies with a bit of food are the way to go! The 2 bullet points above are great choices for entertainment with tasty foods and a wide variety of movies to choose from.

 

Amusement and Water Parks- 

  • Six Flags
  • NRH20
  • Hurricane Harbor

With the harsh Texas summer heat, you are guaranteed to want to take a trip to a water park! NRH20 and Hurricane Harbor are great choices for an outing with friends. With gigantic water slides along with foods and drinks, you are for sure here for a good time! Not only that, a bit down the road from Hurricane Harbor is the renowned amusement park: Six Flags over Texas. With thrilling rides and fun game booths, Six Flags is guaranteed fun!

  • University Park Village
  • Southlake Town Square
  • Northeast Mall

Can’t stand the Texas heat? No problem! These 3 shopping places are the solution to your problem. From clothing to jewelry to technology, these shopping centers have everything and are within walking distance from each other! Enjoy everything in just a trip with your friends and family!

 

Picnic Parks-

  • Randol Mill
  • Oak Grove Park

Wanting to stay active and fit outside while having fun? These 2 parks are just a few that are in Texas. You can find others in my “Beautiful Places Here in Texas” article. From camping, picnics, volleyball, boating, or swimming, these places are great parks to enjoy with family. There are endless activities to do out in nature and these places are not just fun, they are beautiful and are just waiting to be seen.
