iOS 10

I was using iOS 10 beta since the beta became public (around the beginning of July 2016), so I can say I’ve kind of been studying it! The first thing I noticed was when I opened my phone after I restarted it… A brand new lock screen! When I swipe to the write, I have an information hub (notification screen) that is TOTALLY customizable! You can include weather, activity, calendar, Siri suggestions, and many more! Then I swipe back to the left… And there’s the camera! No more trying to place my finger exactly on the camera icon on the bottom and struggling to get a picture in time! Also on the camera screen they have switched the filter and camera direction icons. I was confused how to actually get into my phone for the first time, I wasn’t used to the whole click to unlock thing, but after a while, I’ve gotten to like it. If you have a finger print scanner on your phone, it’s an easy click and you’re in, but if you don’t have a finger print scanner, you’ll have to enter in your code! There were little changes all over the phone like just different looks in music, or a custom playlist apple makes for you every day, or control center box adding a new color shift mode, or even the small change of making the stopwatch in the clock app and actual stop watch. But the biggest thing everyone was excited about was the new iMessage app and the changes apple put into it… There were little changes including the camera icon and stuff like that. But Apple enabled you to send sketches, kisses, heartbeats, fireballs, and heartbreaks. Now in my experience, I don’t usually send these. The bigger changes include stickers, iMusic, and games… Stickers are a virtual way to send… well, stickers! If you go to the app store, you have to download which sticker pack you want and it goes straight into your iMessage options without even having to go to the settings! You can also send GIFS without having to download any third party apps, all you have to do is use Apples new #images iMessage app. Apple has also added iMusic for iMessage. You can send songs to friends if you have apple music! It’s a great way to share some fun quickly! My favorite new implication to iMessage is the new gaming option. If you download certain iMessage apps, you can play some fun games including four in a row (four in a row app), 2 Truths and 1 Lie (TTL app), Tic-Tac-Toe (TicTacToe app), and my personal favorites… Pool, Poker, and Battleships (GamePidgeon app)

Apple has made a lot of changes within their phones, But I think this was a big change for the better!
