Listen here listen there,
Wind blowing leaves everywhere
A soft call to everyone,
Everywhere.
Come one come all,
There goes a black cat along the wall,
Did you see that thing
Across the moon
Be very careful as a witch
Will bring you to your doom.
The jack-o-lanterns start to gleam,
What if this is all a dream?
Down the concrete roads the children go,
With heavy bags their steps are slow,
Ghosts, goblins, knights oh my!
Oh, why oh, why!
The past awakes, the present sleeps,
As magic around the world creeps.
So pull up your cloak up tight and warm,
Watch those shadows shift and form,
For halloween night is here today
Halloween night is here to stay.
