Every year on Christmas Eve, my family watches classic holiday movies such as It’s A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, and A Christmas Story. If it’s close enough to midnight once we’re done watching the movies, then we will each open a present to hold us over until morning. Since I was about 10, my parents have been giving me my presents in scavenger hunt form. They hide the presents all over the house, and give me clues that I have to decipher in order to find where the present is hidden. Sometimes the clues are challenging, but figuring it out makes getting the present so much more rewarding!
